Woke up in the fall of 13, saying to myself this is not what I need, I took the time to figure out if this was right by me and I took some swings so empty-handedly, Hope to god this is the life I want to lead, Tell me to pack my clothes and I'll take my car and life to another state.

I don't want to sleep, I just want to see new places, meet new faces, In hope that someone will be waiting at home for me. I don't want to be, shut eyed when all the city lights are calling my name, and everything in this state is killing me.

And while the winter days are getting shorter, my fucking waist size is getting bigger, sitter at home just won't do anything anymore to me. While i see most people get degrees, I tell myself this is who I want to be, another teenager on the road with a couple friends and a dirty six string
